Hello fellow language enthusiasts!

I'm delighted to be able to present my latest project to you today: German for Absolute Beginners. As a native German speaker, born, raised and educated in Berlin, who is familiar with the subtleties and nuances of the German language, I would like to share my passion and knowledge with you. I have developed this course to introduce absolute beginners to the German language and teach them the basics they need to get by in everyday life.

Why learn German?

German is one of the most widely spoken languages in Europe and has around 100 million native speakers worldwide. It is an official language not only in Germany, but also in Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein. German is also an important language in many scientific and technical fields.

A basic understanding of German will therefore open many doors for you, whether in your career, at university or when travelling. With "German for Absolute Beginners" I would like to make your start as easy and enjoyable as possible.

 

Who am I?

My name is Bodo, and I am a native German speaker with a deep knowledge of the German language and culture. Through my professional work, I am also familiar with high-level official German, which means that I can teach you not only colloquial language, but also more formal expressions. My aim is to give you a comprehensive understanding of the German language that will be useful to you in various areas of life.

The "German for Absolute Beginners" course

The course is divided into different modules, each covering a specific aspect of the German language. Today I would like to introduce you to the first chapter of the first module to give you an idea of what to expect.

Welcome to "German for Absolute Beginners"! In this course, you will learn the basics of the German language, from pronunciation of the alphabet to simple everyday conversations. This course is structured so that you progress step by step and continuously expand your knowledge.

- Be able to communicate in everyday situations
- Develop a basic understanding of German grammar

Tips for learning German effectively

Before we really get started, I would like to give you some tips that will help you learn German:
1. Regular practice: It is important to practice a little every day to make continuous progress.
2. Integrate the language into everyday life: Try to integrate the German language into your everyday life, be it by watching German movies, listening to German music or reading simple texts.
3. Don't be afraid to make mistakes: Mistakes are part of the learning process. Don't be afraid to make them - you learn the most from them.

Anyone who is interested can receive individual training from me in a video meeting. This may appeal more to those who are already advanced. But more on that later.
