Hello and welcome!
My name is Bodo, and I live with my fiancée, Penky, in the Lisbon metropolitan area. We are thrilled to be getting married here in early 2025 and are planning to relocate to Penky’s hometown of Davao City in the Philippines by the end of 2025 or early 2026. This move marks an exciting new chapter in our lives as we settle into her home country.
As I approach early retirement in 2027, I plan to continue working as a freelancer, focusing on projects that offer complete geographic flexibility. This will allow me to seamlessly combine professional growth with our international lifestyle.
Currently, I work as a freelancer for CONTIO.tech @ Vaco LLC, Telus International and Yoummday GmbH contributing as a Content Analyst and CSR. While these roles are engaging and make full use of my skills, they are geographically limited to Europe, which poses challenges for our long-term relocation plans.
I am therefore particularly interested in opportunities that allow for unrestricted remote work to align with our future goals.
In previous roles, I gained valuable experience in production management, site supervision, and assembly coordination, developing strong leadership skills and organizational expertise. Transitioning to remote work has allowed me to adapt and thrive in diverse and dynamic environments.
In addition to my professional endeavors, my fiancée and I also offer house- and pet-sitting services. Penky is an experienced Filipino nanny and housekeeper who has supported numerous families and households in countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Switzerland, and now Portugal. Filipino domestic workers are renowned worldwide for their professionalism, reliability, and warm, caring nature, and Penky exemplifies these qualities through her exceptional work.
