Welcome to "German for Absolute Beginners"! In this course, you will learn the basics of the German language, from pronunciation of the alphabet to simple everyday conversations. This course is structured so that you progress step by step and continuously expand your knowledge.

The German alphabet and pronunciation

The German alphabet consists of 26 letters, similar to the English alphabet, with some additional umlauts (ä, ö, ü) and the sharp S (ß). Pronouncing the letters correctly is the first step towards mastering the German language.

- The alphabet:
- A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
- Umlauts: Ä, Ö, Ü
- The letter ß (Eszett or sharp S)
